As part of their continued growth plans in the UK, they now seek a talented individual to work with the Director, Sales & Market Access and their first line managers, to deliver effective implementation of the cross functional field force strategy. Key responsibilities of the role are to:
Ensure effective implementation of Key Account Management, including ongoing process improvement
Work with Human Resources to implement and measure skills and knowledge enhancement initiatives within the sales and market access organisation including:
Identification of training needs and solutions
Development & maintenance of training materials & programmes
Management & monitoring of internal & external vendors
Delivery of training sessions, as appropriate
Interface with business intelligence to ensure sales data are tracked and monitored against activity and reported in a clear manner. Contribute to the ongoing development of the data warehouse and business information tools ensuring they meet the needs of the sales force.
Work closely with marketing and medical departments to ensure to ensure delivery of materials and programmes that reflect the needs of key accounts
Interface with Professional and Scientific Relations to ensure seamless integration of local and national KOL activities and development
Contribute to ongoing analysis of field force structure, with an ability to make recommendations for future improvements and changes dependent on market conditions
Implement and manage sales incentive scheme
Develop tools to measure key performance metrics, and to report these on a monthly basis ( e.g. time in field, call rate, target customer coverage and frequency)
Form effective links with the Operational Excellence Team at Global Head Office and work with them, as appropriate
Your suitability for the role will be defined by your:
Experience in data analysis and account planning as a basis for making both strategic and tactical level recommendations
Experience of NHS structures, policy, and strategy sufficient to identify customer needs and business opportunities, across a broad range of stakeholders
Expertise in Key Account Management development and implementation
Ability to create and develop skills enhancement programmes
Ability to create, implement and monitor field force KPIs (e.g. performance standards, activity reporting, incentive scheme development, sales reporting)
IT literacy, ablity to use ETMS systems to drive KPIs
As well as superb project management, analytical and organisation skills, you will possess excellent interpersonal, communication and time-management skills as well as a positive attitude to change.
