Our client is a Japanese Pharmaceutical research and development company who have had a presence in the UK for the past seven years. As a company they are committed to focusing their research and development on innovative products and medical devices that address unmet medical needs. They have particular interests in the fields of cardiovascular, gastro and CNS disorders.
I am recruiting for a Regional Healthcare Account Manager to work across the Midlands and the North. This is one of two such roles within the company and works alongside a team of Hospital Account Managers.
The purpose of this role is working with a new to market drug within a niche area of the cardiovascular field. You willunderstand the NHS environment and maintain an active network of relationships in order to influence, remove barriers and open opportunities for increasing sales.
The ideal candidate will have:
- An excellent understanding of the NHS and experience of achievement through liaison with non-clinical customers
- Experience of securing formulary approvals, guidelines and shared protocols
- Account management experience
Experience of working either within endocrinology or oncology would be desirable, although not essential.
This role would be ideal for an experienced Healthcare Account Manager who is looking for greater autonomy, or an experienced hospital sales specialist wanting to work more with key influencers and funding pathways.
