Our client, one of the top healthcare companies with a growing business, has a vacancy for a Hospital Sales Specialist within one of their Specialist Divisions.

This is a field based role, working from home in a defined territory, and will report to National Sales Manager. This is a role where you can shape the future for your product and truly make a difference.

Main Accountabilities :

  1. To call on key customers within ITU/Critical Care, pharmacists and other relevant healthcare professionals, to promote the use and purchase of your products.
  2. To work within ITU/Critical Care selling your products and providing clinical and technical support as required, to ensure the customer and patients have a favourable experience
  3. To expand the number of accounts using the products into current non-user hospitals
  4. To identify the key decision makers in the purchasing process, including non-clinical staff, and to focus activity on them.
  5. To apply the country marketing strategies at territory level, as defined by the Product Manager and sales management.
  6. To provide technical support on the use of the products, to existing and new users.
  7. To achieve and exceed agreed territory sales targets.


We are seeking someone who can is able to demonstrate:

  • A strong customer focus and Business Acumen skills
  • High level of knowledge of the theory and practical use of ITU/Critical Care products.
  • Ideally a minimum of 2 years hospital sales experience (healthcare or pharmaceutical) OR have clinical experience in the ITU/Critical Care environment e.g. ITU Nurse. An ITU background coupled with sales experience would be ideal!
  • ABPI qualification may be an advantage but is not essential
