Our client is a biopharmaceutical company which focuses on the discovery, development and commercialization of innovative treatments to serve high unmet medical needs. As part of their continued growth plans in the UK, they now seek a talented individual to join the company as a Key Account Manager tasked with creating increased sales of the company’s breakthrough lead product within the London area.

You will be responsible for managing the development of sales in major London hospitals (Royal Brompton, St Thomas’s and Great Ormond Street) as well as having national level responsibility for co-ordination and implementation of a key account plan for the paediatric indication for the product. (Great Ormond Street being the nationally designated centre). The will be achieved through sales activity and, where other barriers exist, through developing profitable solutions and programmes with key stakeholders.


As a Key Account Manager, you will take responsibility for Key Account Planning within the territory and ensure delivery against objectives set and agreed. This will include individual plans and selling strategies for Key Account Customers as well as the wider business aspects. Your Key Account Plan will be developed and implemented through co-ordination with colleagues and across functions.
Your suitability of the role will be defined by your outstanding track record in secondary care as well as proof of your ability to utilise excellent account management skills to develop joint agendas with senior Healthcare Professionals.
