Our client is a rapidly evolving force in specialist hospital medicine. They develop, acquire and commercialise late-stage pharmaceuticals and medical devices focused in critical care, oncology and neurology. With a focus in the specialist hospital sector, they combine their expertise in both pharmaceuticals and medical devices to drive growth. As part of their significant growth plans for 2010, they now seek talented, commercially driven individuals to work as Hospital Account Negotiators in the locations shown.

 

Focusing mainly within the Oncology sector, the Hospital Account Negotiator will work with Key Hospital Accounts and PCT’s to drive sales of the product by securing contracts. The role requires a high degree of commercial awareness and the ability to understand complex decision making processes within a trust. These are truly independent roles where you alone will be responsible for your successes and therefore gain the recognition and reward for the work that you do.

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

* Demonstrable track record sales success from a specialist secondary care, Healthcare Development, Key Account Management or NHS Liaison type role from either the pharmaceutical or medical devices environment
* Proven excellence in contract negotiation and influencing of key decision makers (including procurement) from within PCT’s and Secondary Care
* A clear understanding of the procurement process within Hospital Trusts
