Healthcare Development Manager - Blood Glucose Monitoring Products

Our client is a global broad based healthcare company devoted to the discovery, development, manufacturer and marketing of pharmaceutical and medical products including nutrition, devices and diagnostics. They develop products to reduce the discomfort and inconvenience of blood glucose monitoring. They have designed and developed several leading edge glucose monitoring systems and test strips for use in the home and in the hospital setting.
We are recruiting for a Healthcare Development Manager covering Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, London, Kent, Surrey, Sussex to drive the sales and market share growth of the portfolio across local health economy accounts.
As part of the role you will be:
- building partnerships with local health economies to position the portfolio within local guidelines.
- ensuring PCO funding is available by working with PCOs and managed entry of new products into the NHS
- Develop high quality business accounts to gain maximum commercial advantage within the local health economy, giving clear direction across the account team on business objectives and customer responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have the following levels of experience:
- Experience of working within the NHS or pharmaceutical industry
- Successful sales experience plus demonstrable ongoing sales success
- Experience of cross functional working
Have strong skills in business planning, decision making, innovation and commercial awareness.
